  • The external environment of the hotel is good, close to the east gate of Peking University and the west gate of Tsinghua University. The transportation is very convenient. You can walk more than 200 meters to exit C of Beida Dongmen station of Metro Line 10. It can be said that the people in the family like it very much. I will stay here next time I come to Beijing. The only drawback is that there are few choices of restaurants around. If you don't mind, this is a good choice!Deluxe Standard Room (Villa 1)

  • It is surrounded by a school campus with few commercial supporting facilities. It takes 10 minutes to eat and shop. The door security needs to be improved: there is no safety bolt, and the access control is opened by mistake (the door card is identified in the pocket at a close distance). The room is very quiet.Queen Room C(Villa 9)

  • I booked a suite for my colleagues, which is suitable for business travel. My colleagues said that all aspects are good, but it's too far from downtown. It's not convenient to go shopping at night.Executive Suite

  • The traffic is convenient. It's not far from the bus stop. It's only 5 minutes to the subway station. Take the bus to Wudaokou, or shopping center, it's only 2 stops. Next to the residential area, there are fitness equipment, get up early can be in that activity.Deluxe Standard Room (Villa 1)

  • The hotel is located opposite the east gate of Peking University, next to the East Gate subway station of Peking University, which is very convenient to travel. The service, sanitation and facilities of the hotel meet the quasi four-star standard, especially the rooms are large, which is worthy of recommendation. Unfortunately, I live in a thermocline suite of 818 yuan, but there is no breakfast. The place for breakfast outside the hotel is far away, which is not very convenient.Multi-level Suite (Villa 1)

  • The location of the hotel is very good. It will be there as soon as you get out of the No. 4 subway entrance. It is very close to the southeast gate of Peking University. You should approach it for a distance, a little farther. It's very quiet and clean. The cultural atmosphere is particularly good. In the morning, you can see Peking University Students Reading in the flowers. Breakfast is 40 yuan per person in the coffee shop. The overall feeling is good. The room is large, clean and hygienic, and it's convenient to eat and live. Especially the food in the restaurant of Building 1 is very goodQueen Room C(Villa 9)

Travelogue

  • I stole three days of undisturbed campus slow time

This time, when I came to Beijing to participate in Peking University's offline writing camp, I didn't choose a chain hotel with people coming and going around. I directly booked my accommodation at the Zhongguan Xinyuan Global Village PKU Beijing next to the east gate of Peking University. Originally, I only planned for it to be less than ten minutes' walk from the teaching building where classes are taking place. However, this brief stay turned into a wonderful journey for me to rediscover the sense of relaxation on campus many years after graduation.
As soon as I entered the park with my suitcase, I was enveloped in a sense of youthful energy. The poplar trees on the roadside provide a continuous shade, and students wearing Peking University cultural shirts ride their bicycles past with jingling bells. There is still half an unclosed professional book in the basket. The security guard at the entrance checked my activity reservation code and pointed inside with a smile, saying, "Building 3 is right ahead, just take a turn and you'll arrive. Don't worry." Without the sense of haste of a commercial hotel, even the sound of the wind sweeping through the leaves was half a beat slower.
The room in Building 3 where I live is not particularly large, but every detail exudes a sense of security. The wooden desk by the window is spacious enough to spread out my notebook and half a meter thick reference materials. The light from the desk lamp is a warm white color that is not dazzling. Even the shadow of the desk lamp is quiet when rushing to do homework late at night. The most surprising thing was the sound insulation in the room. Even though it was a small path in the park downstairs, after closing the door, I could hardly hear footsteps or laughter from outside. I put on headphones to revise the manuscript, and two hours passed as soon as I looked up, completely undisturbed by the outside world.
My favorite thing is the fireworks in the park. At 7:30 in the morning, I went to the restaurant on the first floor to have breakfast. The aunt at the window would give me an extra spoonful of freshly ground soybean milk with a smile. There were many students around who were discussing topics while eating steamed buns. Some were talking about lotus flowers in Weiming Lake, and some were talking about the evening breeze when the library closed last night. After dinner, you don't have to take a taxi. You can walk leisurely for ten minutes and enter the east gate of Peking University. When passing by the playground, you can also stop and watch classmates who run for two minutes. Even the time of rushing has become a pleasure.
In the evening, when I return to the park after class, I always like to take a walk around the central garden. Although the wisteria on the trellis has passed its flowering period, its leaves are still green and shiny. Several international students are sitting on a bench playing guitar and singing. On a nearby bench, a pair of old professors are wearing reading glasses discussing their papers. I found an empty seat and sat down. The wind carried the fragrance of locust trees, and the ice cola in my hand was bubbling. Suddenly, I forgot that I had graduated many years ago and seemed to have become a student here. I had a slow time where I didn't have to rush the subway or keep track of work news.
When I finished packing my luggage after three days of accommodation, I was a little reluctant to leave.Zhongguan Xinyuan Global Village PKU Beijing has never been just a place to stay, it is like a gentle barrier that blocks the fast-paced Beijing outside the park. During my stay here for a few days, I didn't have to rush to check-in points or squeeze into internet famous restaurants. Instead, I could attend classes, take walks, and have a hot breakfast peacefully, and once again catch the unique and leisurely tenderness of the campus. Next time I come to Beijing, I will definitely stay here for a few more days.Show more

  • Staying on campus at night

This time I came to Beijing to participate in the summer academic exchange at Peking University, I didn't choose any nearby chain hotels and stayed directly at Zhongguan Xinyuan Global Village PKU Beijing. I originally only hoped for the convenience of walking a few hundred meters from the east gate of Peking University, but this accommodation experience has become the most unforgettable memory of my trip to Beijing.
As soon as I entered the park, the atmosphere enveloped me. The security guard at the entrance checked the appointment information and pointed towards the teaching building in the distance with a smile: "Walk 300 meters inside to the registration point, don't worry." There was no noise from the outside business district in the entire park, and the white poplar trees on the roadside covered the shade. Students holding books rode their bicycles leisurely, and even the wind was filled with the faint fragrance of plants and the ink and paper in the library. When checking in, the front desk staff said, 'Teacher, please take your room card,' which suddenly gave people a sense of familiarity that blends into this academic atmosphere.
I am staying in a standard room in Building 9, which is much more spacious than expected. The distance between the two beds is well maintained, and there is no sense of discomfort when I turn around. The most surprising thing is the large desk by the window, with a transparent glass cushion on the tabletop. The light from the desk lamp is soft and not glaring, and there is also a bright spotlight installed next to it. When taking notes for communication activities at night, the light covers the entire desktop, so there is no need to squint your eyes. The sound insulation of the room is particularly solid, and outside the window is the small path of the park. After closing the door, you can hardly hear the footsteps outside, and you won't be disturbed when organizing materials until late at night.
The experience in the bathroom area far exceeded expectations, with the water pressure in the shower being just right, and the water temperature taking only a few seconds from opening to adjusting to the appropriate temperature, completely avoiding the problem of sudden cold and hot changes commonly seen in old houses. The countertop of the washbasin is spacious enough to spread out all the materials you carry with you. After taking a shower and wiping your face, there is almost no fog on the mirror, so you don't have to stand in place for a long time to see clearly. The most considerate thing is the ventilation fan in the bathroom, which makes almost no noise even after being turned on all night. After taking a shower, the towel hanging inside is already dry by the next morning.
The next day, I got up early to have a buffet breakfast. The restaurant was full of students talking about topics while holding notebooks. The soybean milk was boiled thick, and the steamed steamed buns were still steaming when they bit open. Even the pickles were cooked fresh and palatable. After dinner, we walked ten minutes to the East Gate of Peking University. We didn't have to rush the subway. We walked slowly on the road, and we could also buy a cup of hot soybean milk on the way.
After the evening exchange activity, I returned to the park and walked back along the central garden. The streetlights on the roadside were warm yellow, and several international students sat on benches playing guitar and singing. The evening breeze was wrapped in the fragrance of locust trees. I used to think that the fragrance of Peking University's books was only hidden in the teaching building and library, but this time I stayed at Zhongguan Xinyuan Global Village PKU Beijing and realized that it had already drifted into every detail of the accommodation along the evening breeze. I have been sleeping soundly these past few nights, and even my usual insomnia has been quietly cured by the quietness in the park. Next time I come to Beijing, I will definitely stay here again.Show more
